The mass-production of electronic modules has started and the first batch is now in stock.
All cars shared with OneBlip are featured with electronic modules that communicate with the users Smartphone to lock/unlock the doors and immobilises the car if someone tries to use the car without a valid booking.
The original printed circuit board has been revamped, reducing the size of the module to a match box. All electronic components are encapsulated in resin, making it unbreakable and easy to install. It has also been tested and certified compliant with the ANZ/EU safety standards.
All modules are currently manufactured in Australia with a current production capacity of a 100 units a week.
